Get Involved - Citizens & Voices

Creating a MiFriendly City

We want the communities of Coventry, Birmingham and Wolverhampton to take the lead in unlocking their cities assets, coming together to drive change at both city and regional levels.

Our regional migration initiative not only sets out a programme of activities for migrants, but looks to engage with employers and the wider public to build a stronger community.

To learn more about our innovative programme of activities and find out how you or your organisation can get involved, please select one of our 5 themes...

About MiFriendly Citizens & Voices

Being an active citizen means getting involved in your local community, helping to improve the quality of life for yourself and the others where you live.
We wanted to encourage refugees and migrants to become more active in their communities, and to feel confident in using their voices to spread a message, share a story, or simply to get to know other people in their city.
To build this confidence, it’s also important for migrants to understand their legal, civil and political rights.
