Share My Language: Rhymetime

This year Refugee Week has evolved to become the Coventry Welcomes Festival! As a part of the celebrations, MiFriendly Cities will be running Share My Language Rhymetimes throughout the week in partnership with Coventry Libraries.

Come and join in your local library carer and child sessions. Bring a Rhyme from your childhood from wherever you grew up in whatever language, to share.

11am to 11.30am each day at various libraries across the city:

  • Monday 17th June: Central Library, Smithsford Way, CV1 1FY
  • Tuesday 18th June: Central Library, Smithsford Way, CV1 1FY
  • Wednesday 19th June: Central Library, Smithsford Way, CV1 1FY
  • Thursday 20th June: Tile Hill Library, Jardine Crescent, CV4 9PL
  • Friday 21st June: Central Library, Smithsford Way, CV1 1FY

ℹ️ Coventry Welcomes is aimed at promoting a more inclusive image of a city with a diverse population. The festival will follow the national theme “You, Me and Those Who Came Before” as an invitation to explore the lives of refugees – and those who have welcomed them – throughout generations.
