Media Lab Training Workshop – Coventry

Asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in Coventry, please join us to learn skills that will make your voices heard!

Migrant Voice is organising a special Media Lab training workshop for migrants and refugees in Coventry on Monday 18th February 2019.

Recognised journalists, media and communication professionals will lead the MV Media Lab training sessions to help represent migrant voices in the media.

Programme:

11:00am: Welcome and registration
11:30am 1:30pm: Session 1 How to use mobile phones and cameras to have a voice in a digital world and to have your stories told (Photography workshop with photojournalist Alison Bakerville)
1:30pm 2:30pm: Lunch break
2:40pm 4:30pm: Session 2 Video training on techniques of communication (Video workshop with Almamy Taal, Migrant Voice media facilitator)
