Citizen Social Scientist Training

Train to be a Citizen Social Scientist in Birmingham

MiFriendly Cities is offering refugees, migrants and asylum seekers the opportunity to join a FREE OCN accredited course with experienced researchers from Coventry University. 

TRAVEL Expenses Paid.

  • Learn how to design a research project
  • Help to evaluate and improve MiFriendly Cities
  • Gain an accredited qualification
  • Enhance employability by learning a new skill
  • Graduate with Coventry University

The course will be delivered from a community centre close to the City with good transport links.

Dates:

  • Monday 30th March & Tuesday 31st March (PM, TBC)
  • Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th April (AM, TBC)

Please note a further date will be agreed between tutors and course participants to present research findings.

Interested?

There are 15 places available.  We have allocated a limited number of places for paid staff/volunteers ( born outside of the UK) who work directly with participants to support their career development.
